Nintendo did try this in America but it didn't pull through. Nintendo worked with Sony to try to create a CD Add-on to the SNES. It didn't work out so they went with the Phillips CD-i instead. We don't have St.Giga in America. The closest things we had were At&t and Sprint and the Cable Companies.
Had the Super Nintendo CD been released these Satellaview sound link games could have easily been transferred onto that. Given they would need to tweak some things to at least adjust the clock to be an hour or more to facilitate the game. As for the score prizes, maybe give the gamer some passwords and tricks for regular SNES games. Eg beat BS zelda get secrets for alttp lol
